Discover experiences, participate in events, and receive rewards for your community involvement.

Amicci is a platform focused on discovering experiences and events, where users can find activities according to their interests, participate in them, and accumulate rewards through the Rewards system. While the concept is interesting, the user experience didn't live up to the product's potential.

In the initial analyses, it became clear that the biggest problem was not the number of features, but the way they were presented.

The interface had little visual hierarchy, scattered information, inconsistent flows, and navigation that required unnecessary effort to perform simple tasks.

On many occasions, the user needed to stop to understand the interface, when it should have done the exact opposite: guided them naturally.

Objective

My goal with this redesign was to reorganize the entire experience without altering the essence of the product. Instead of simply modernizing the interface, I sought to reduce the cognitive load at each stage of the journey, making navigation clearer, more predictable, and more enjoyable.

Seamless onboarding

The original registration process required many steps and offered little guidance.

I introduced social login and a step-by-step flow, making the experience faster and more predictable.

Finding experiences with less effort

I restructured the screen hierarchy and added quick filters by category, allowing users to find experiences in a much more natural way.

Customization without hassle.

The process of defining preferences involved lengthy lists, which made filling them out tedious.

I replaced that model with interactive tags, making selection faster, more visual, and much more enjoyable to use.

A clearer experience

The event page needed to highlight what really matters for decision-making.

Previously, the information competed with each other, making it difficult to read.

I reorganized all the content using a more consistent visual hierarchy, making it easier to identify details such as date, location, price, and registration.

More natural assessments

After participating in an event, the user needed to share their experience, but the flow did not encourage this interaction.

I transformed this step into a simpler and more intuitive process, using visual assessments, comments, and image submissions in a single experience.

Giving value to Rewards

Rewards was one of the platform's most important features, but this wasn't clear to the user.

Information such as balance, history, and redemptions was scattered, making it difficult to understand how the system worked.

I reorganized this entire experience, highlighting the key information and making the actions much more intuitive.

The result

More than just modernizing the interface, this redesign sought to simplify the entire user journey.

Every decision was made to reduce friction, improve the discovery of experiences, and finally make important features, such as Rewards, easy to understand and use.

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about this project!
